Picture yourself, journeying over a bridge, to get to a place that offers healing, relief, counsel, and all that you’ve dreamed of and more. By the grace of God, this is the experience of many, when coming to the Eden Way Outpost.

However, crossing over the bridge, to get to the Eden Way home, used to be a challenge. When the rain came down, and the floods came up, the bridge got completely covered. “Bridge? What bridge?” is literally what one could say. Furthermore, with each passing storm, the water damage became more and more evident. Splits and cracks, to say the least. Nonetheless,  God had a plan! When “sin had produced a gulf between man and his God, a divine benevolence provided a plan to bridge that gulf. And what material did He use? A part of Himself.” {OHC 12}

“Now ye are the body of Christ” 1 Cor. 12:27. Although God literally could have spoken a bridge into existence, the part of Himself -the material that He wanted to use to “bridge the gap”- were people like you! For in His infinite wisdom, He knew the benefits that everyone would reap. Oh, what joy! 

Friends, family, and dear ones, the gap has been bridged! Crossing into the Eden Way Outpost is no longer an obstacle course! It is a sweet, smooth drive across a small, highway bridge. It is so beautiful! It is so wonderful! Sometimes we just go and sit on it, and hang over the edges; throwing branches and leaves in the water, to watch them come out on the other side. It’s such a blessing! If you have never been here before, you will not fully understand the before and after; but you would still like it. If you have been here before, then you will be amazed! I promise. God is good, and greatly to be praised!!! 

Your response to bridging the gap is to be commended. God bless you! There were notes with some of your gifts, and then there were just checks with “Bridging the Gap” on the memo line. There were gifts of hundreds and thousands of dollars; and then there were gifts of five dollars, with a note like, “I wish I had more to help you all build a proper bridge”. It’s amazing to watch God take our little, willing, unselfish gifts, and do massive things! 

To you, our beloved brothers and sisters, world-wide, our community: Thank you, from the bottom of our hearts, for allowing God to use you to build the bridge to the Eden Way Outpost! Let’s continue to help God finish His work in our hearts and home. God bless you!!!
