Babylon’s Failing Economy Calls for A Better Way

Greetings Beloved!

It is our sincerest hope that this article finds you and your families both healthy and vigilant at this time. Bible prophecy is fast fulfilling all around us and as we’re watching the signs of the times becoming more and more frequent and disastrous, one thing is alarmingly certain, God’s people must wake up right now!

The Bible is very clear that in connection with the final crisis, the mark of the beast, we should expect to see a new order of things economically. In this new order, the beast—the Papacy, will have full authority so “that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name,” (Rev. 13:17). Interestingly enough, this new economic order is precisely what the current Pope Francis is after at this time. On Sat. Sept. 24th, 2022 during his visit to Assisi for the event “Economy of Francesco,” Pope Francis said, “Today, a new economy inspired by Francis of Assisi can and must become an economy of friendship with the earth and an economy of peace. It is a question of transforming an economy that kills into an economy of life, in all its aspects.”

While some may be lulled to sleep by his mild presentation of the subject, cunningly using words such as “friendship with the earth and an economy of peace,” the careful Bible student must see through the cloud of pleasantries and understand the trajectory of what is being said—where will this plan lead the nations and who will be at its head? “For when they shall say, peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape,” (1 Thess. 5:3).

On Friday March 10th, 2023 Silicon Valley Bank collapsed. It has been recognized as the second largest bank failure in United States history—the largest since the financial crisis of 2008. In addition to this, two other banks collapsed in March just days apart from one another, Silvergate Bank and Signature Bank. The timing of these economic failures are no mere coincidences when viewed in connection with the previously quoted statement of Pope Francis, the man called “the world’s pastor,” according to National Catholic Reporter. The whole world is wondering after the beast and strategic measures are now being taken to ensure that this new order of things comes to fruition in our lifetime.

“The Sunday movement is now making its way in darkness. The leaders are concealing the true issue, and many who unite in the movement do not themselves see whither the undercurrent is tending,” (LDE 125.3).

The Bible prophesied the world’s current financial state! “And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity,” (Luke 21:25). That word perplexity there means that among the nations there would be an economic strait, a financial crisis. This is precisely what we see rapidly developing today among the nations and beloved it’s only getting worse! Praise God, Christ has not left His people without instruction for today! What should His church be doing at such a time as this?

While the Babylonian system (its entire way of life) is collapsing all around us, God is preparing a body whom He has taught His way—the true way of life. “Thy way O God, is in the sanctuary,” (Ps. 77:13). At this time, we should be in earnest prayer, diligently rediscovering the rich blueprint for life that was given to this movement by God. While Babylon’s economy is falling, the economy established by Christ in Eden must be rising among His people! “And the Gentiles shall come to thy light, and kings to the brightness of thy rising,” (Is. 60:3). It is becoming more and more evident that the time for God’s people to make the final Exodus from Babylon’s way of life is now! The time to leave her diet is now! The time to leave her fashion and her cities is now! Beloved the time to leave her economy and to establish our families according to the Biblical blueprint is now!

“Again and again the Lord has instructed that our people are to take their families away from the cities, into the country, where they can raise their own provisions; for in the future the problem of buying and selling will be a very serious one. We should now begin to heed the instruction given us over and over again…” (The Adventist Home pg. 141.4)

Beloved, Inspiration is very clear. The time for decided action is now! “Today, if ye hear His voice, harden not your hearts,” (Heb. 3:15).
