It is clear that one of the most prominent domestic (home) priority of our present presedential administration is health care reform. I wonder if prophecy can telll us why?

On labor day, President obama met at the biggest annual labor union event that was to court the labor union leaders and rally support for the health care bill. It was stated by the press that this “event was hosted by America’s largest union federation – the AFL-CIO – and billed as the biggest Labor Day event of its kind in the country.” to read article click here.
Labor Unions , Health Care Reform, and Sunday Laws??
I wonder does this health care reform have anything to do with the prophecies of Daniel and Revelation that foretell a coming “Time of Trouble” such as this world has never seen (see Daniel 12:1)?

In Short…
This call for health care reform and appealing to the power of labour unions to make reform is leading to a time of trouble that this world has never seen before. 
As I type, it us with amazement to see the accuracy and rapidity of the final events leading to the national Sunday Law. It was back in 1888 that one of the final public reforms before the Sunday law bill was proposed to the nation was health reform–under the title of “the temperance movement”! Infact we are told that the health (temperance) reform was united with the Sunday law movement! Notice this point in the following inspired statement:
“Yet this very class put forth the claim that the fast-spreading corruption is largely attributable to the desecration of the so-called “Christian sabbath,” and that the enforcement of Sunday observance would greatly improve the morals of society. This claim is especially urged in America, where the doctrine of the true Sabbath has been most widely preached. Here the temperance work, one of the most prominent and important of moral reforms, is often combined with the Sunday movement, and the advocates of the latter represent themselves as laboring to promote the highest interest of society; and those who refuse to unite with them are denounced as the enemies of temperance and reform. But the fact that a movement to establish error is connected with a work which is in itself good, is not an argument in favor of the error. We may disguise poison by mingling it with wholesome food, but we do not change its nature. On the contrary, it is rendered more dangerous, as it is more likely to be taken unawares. It is one of Satan’s devices to combine with falsehood just enough truth to give it plausibility. The leaders of the Sunday movement may advocate reforms which the people need, principles which are in harmony with the Bible; yet while there is with these a requirement which is contrary to God’s law, His servants cannot unite with them. Nothing can justify them in setting aside the commandments of God for the precepts of men. {GC 587.1}
History is Being Repeated!
It is being said today by the President that , “Your voice (labor unions) can change the world. Your voice can get health care passed. Your voice will make sure the American worker is protected. “The trades unions will be one of the agencies that will bring upon this earth a time of trouble such as has not been since the world began…Those who claim to be the children of God are in no case to bind up with the labor unions that are formed or that shall be formed. This the Lord forbids. Cannot those who study the prophecies see and understand what is before us?– {CL 10, 12.1}
Let’s pray that God will hold the four winds a little longer, that we might prepare and help to prepare a people for Christ’s’ soon return!
