Last week, President Trump announced that places of worship are essential during this coronavirus pandemic; and he threatened to “override” governors if their states did not allow religious institutions to reopen. Many have argued that he doesn’t have the constitutional authority to do this. As of right now, these recommendations are voluntary.

Soon, none know how soon, recommendations will become regulations; as we witness a uniting of civil and religious matters. The actions of the current administration (since the Covid-19 outbreak) are simply “vocal warm-ups”, preparing this government to speak with even greater authority.

And I beheld another beast coming up out of the earth; and he had two horns like a lamb, and he spake as a dragon. And he exerciseth all the power of the first beast before him… – Revelation 13:11, 12

 

Such action would be directly contrary to the principles of this government, to the genius of its free institutions, to the direct and solemn avowals of the Declaration of Independence, and to the Constitution… {GC 442.2} 

In flagrant violation to the safeguards of our liberties, soon a National (and then International) Sunday Law will be passed. At this year’s *Upper Room Experience camp meeting, let us come together in harmony with God’s plan, as He prepares a people to stand!
