Since we first posted about the global effects of the coronavirus outbreak, the reports grow more devastating on a day-to-day basis.  In every area of life, and on (almost) every continent in this world, the impact of this deadly disease is felt in one way or another. Just this week, as the price of oil significantly dropped, the stock market crashed. “The coronavirus is plunging the world economy into its worst downturn since the global financial crisis.”

All of these events, with their ripple effects, are a solemn reminder of the times in which we are living. It has been said before, and if asked again, we would not be careful to answer thee: 2020 is (in a special sense) – the beginning of the end!

Fearful is the issue to which the world is to be brought. The powers of earth, uniting to war against the commandments of God, will decree that no man may buy or sell, save he that has the mark of the beast, and, finally, that whoever refuses to receive the mark shall be put to death… {4SP 422.2} 

Our world’s economic system is in trouble, and very soon to collapse! The only ones that will go through this crisis will be those who would have brought into existence a different system of living then the one that is currently being threatened.
