Although this week proved to be very eventful, as the U.S. presidential impeachment proceedings continue; the events that are taking place in America are not unique to this nation alone.  “In country after country, we are witnessing an unprecedented wave of attacks on the constitutions, institutions, norms and values that have given democracy strength and meaning.” As it reads in one article, both “liberty and law are under attack worldwide“.

The author may not truly understand the significance of these sentiments shared. The devil is doing all that he can to make void the laws that govern God’s Kingdom, and the founding principles of this nation. Without law, there is no order. The social-political chaos, that we are witnessing worldwide, proves that the crisis is right before us.

At the same time anarchy is seeking to sweep away all law, not only divine, but human. The centralizing of wealth and power; the vast combinations for the enriching of the few at the expense of the many; the combinations of the poorer classes for the defense of their interests and claims; the spirit of unrest, of riot and bloodshed; the world-wide dissemination of the same teachings that led to the French Revolution—all are tending to involve the whole world in a struggle similar to that which convulsed France. {Ed 228.2}
