The Beginning of the End

Across the plains of east Africa and Southwest Asia, “locust swarms of biblical proportions are threatening crops…” The United Nations warns that these desert pests are the most dangerous of its kind – threatening local food supplies, and expected to spread to neighboring countries; possibly reaching India, by June. The effects of climate change are being attributed to this “unprecedented” crisis.

There is a great famine in the land! To the unsuspecting, it would be difficult to understand why such things are being reported weekly, almost to no end. This year (2020) will witness varying, global events; which will continue to happen in rapid succession, just as our dear Lord said they would.

...this is but the beginning of the end.

The wrath of God is upon the inhabitants of the world, who are fast becoming as corrupt as were the inhabitants of Sodom and Gomorrah. Already fire and flood are destroying thousands of lives and the property that has been selfishly accumulated by the oppression of the poor. The Lord is soon to cut short His work and put an end to sin. Oh, that the scenes which have come before me of the iniquities practiced in these last days, might make a deep impression on the minds of God’s professing people… {8T 49}

Because of our dullness of comprehension, the Lord must repeat His warning message to us, again and again. When will the people of God finally wake up and prepare for the crisis that is just before us?

Shall the Lord hide from those who are faithful that thing which He is to do? Peradventure ten shall be found, who desire to understand more about these coming events, and the crisis at the close: Please let us know, in the comment box below…
