When we hear about national and worldwide incidents – the social crisis that is displayed daily, weekly, monthly… one can only agree that this world cannot continue much longer. Just before the closing scenes of Christ’s ministry on earth, in Matthew 24, He described several coming events that would give evidence of the signs of His soon return. One of these signs describes perfectly what we are witnessing today:

And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold. – Matthew 24:12 

A most recent example of the above verse is being displayed this week, here in the U.S. Authorities are calling it ‘acts of terror’, as bombs were sent to several high profile, political figures; persons, as is becoming more evident, who have been a vocal critic to the current administration. “The recipients of the packages are all prominent targets of right-wing criticism and, in many cases, of President Donald Trump himself.” 

In the following short clip, we hear one political leader who realizes that we are living in “troubling times”. She (Hilary Clinton) says that we must “do everything we can to bring our country together”. Then President Trump, although he is often criticized for his role in this hostile social-political atmosphere, also responds with the call for unity in this country; an opportunity for the “Divided States of America” to finally live up to its name. But who will be a part of this union?

Through the two great errors, the immortality of the soul and Sunday sacredness, Satan will bring the people under his deceptions. While the former lays the foundation of spiritualism, the latter creates a bond of sympathy with Rome. The Protestants of the United States will be foremost in stretching their hands across the gulf to grasp the hand of spiritualism; they will reach over the abyss to clasp hands with the Roman power; and under the influence of this threefold union, this country will follow in the steps of Rome in trampling on the rights of conscience. – {GC 588.1}

The devil is behind this call for unity; the counterfeit always preceding the genuine, to result in the soon passing of the National Sunday Law. Watch the following news clip and you will hear the cry to unify this troubled, divided nation. Soon the U.S.A. will be persuaded that the only way to unify this country is to return back to God in a mandatory national Sunday law! Get ready, Get ready, Get ready.
