This challenge is a practical, educational assessment tool, designed to reveal the need of redirecting our resources from Babylon’s collapsing economy, into our own God-given economy – “….for in the future the problem of buying and selling will be a very serious one.” {CL 10}
Those who successfully complete the challenge will get 50% off their tuition, at an up-coming training school at the Eden Way Outpost! Those who aren’t successful at completing the challenge will have the option of donating to establish the Eden Economy. Either way, your participation will make a difference! Go Forward!
Taking the Eden Economy Challenge
How do you take it? Simply follow these 3 steps!
- For 2 months, attempt to obtain/purchase 50% of your basic needs (food, clothing, etc.) from only SDA sources.
- Record your progress along the way. You may use the FREE downloadable tracking sheets. Print as many as you would like.
- Take the survey, after your 2 month challenge is complete. Survey is available at the bottom of this page.

Why Take The Challenge?
A world-wide, prophetic storm is developing all around us, that will bring a time of trouble such as never was; and we are not ready.
As Seventh-day Adventists, we should be well familiar with the warning in Revelation 13:16, 17. The beast with two horns (the U.S.A.) “causeth [commands] all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads: and that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.”
However, in the midst of the maddening rush of our everyday lives; are we really thinking, and planning, and working with this solemn message in mind? Do we realize that the manner in which we do our business transactions will soon come to an end?
“Go to now, ye that say, To day or to morrow we will go into such a city, and continue there a year, and buy and sell, and get gain: Whereas ye know not what shall be on the morrow…” (James 4:13, 14)
Instead of taking it all as a matter of course, a thing that must be; we ought to have more of the intensity of feeling possessed by our forefathers. Brothers and sisters, to devise ways and means (through Christ), to live in such a crisis hour calls for the pioneering spirit! It calls for something better than what the Babylonian, worldly system has to offer. Our world’s global economic system is in a crisis, and is very soon to collapse. The only ones that will go through this crisis will be those who would have brought into existence the system of living that was established in Eden – the Eden Economy.
