
Cashew Cheese
Ingredients
- 1 cup water
- 2 Tbsps lemon juice
- 3/4 cup cashews unroasted
- 2 Tbsps sesame seeds
- 1/2 cup pimentos
- 3 Tbsps nutritional yeast flakes
- 2 tsps onion powder
- 1/4 tsp garlic powder
- 1 1/4 tsp salt sea salt
- 1/8 tsp dill seed (optional)
Instructions
- Blend all ingredients on high for 1-2 minutes until creamy.
- Serve immediately as a slightly warm sauce.
- Or, for a thicker (more gelatinous) variation: chill for 30-60 minutes, then serve.

Have you ever made this with roasted cashews?
No I have never tried this with roasted cashews, just raw, but if you have tried it and it turned out good, please let us know
This is just Amazing cheese!!! I recently made some for some nachos and it’s the best cheese ever. And as a vegan it’s a great substitute. Vegan Cashew Cheese rulez!
