
Baked Ziti
A delicious savory pasta dish with garden fresh delights!
Ingredients
Fresh Tomato Sauce
- 3 packs grape tomatoes 30 oz
- 1 small onion
- 1 small carrot
- 2 tbsp tomato paste
- 1 clove garlic
- 1/2 tsp basil
- 1/2 tsp oregano ground
- 1/2 tsp lemon juice fresh
- 4 tbsp agave
- 1/4 tsp salt
Additional Ingredients
- 1 16oz bag of penne pasta or pasta of choice
- 1 bag 8oz Daiya mozzarella cheese plant based
- 1 bag 8oz Daiya cheddar cheese plant based
- 1 sprig parsely
- veggie meat protein optional
Instructions
- Cook pasta in boiling water until slightly tender, drain, and place in casserole dish.
- Blend tomato sauce ingredients. Pour into sauce pan and simmer for 35-40 minutes.
- Pour cooked sauce over pasta.
- Add cooked veggie meat protein (optional)
- Mix in some of the "cheeses" and sprinkle remaining cheese over the pasta.
- Bake in the over for 15-20 minutes (until cheese in nicely melted).
- Garnish with sprinkles of parsley.
- Eat and Enjoy - to the Glory of God! (1 Corinthians 10:31)

Oh… Vege meat protein! Where do I get this from?? It sounds like something I would love to buy and eat. I am a great lover of vege meat protein in the form of Fri Chick – but would never eat it now. Thank you for this recipe.
Whole foods has several selection, look for the brand, “Delight Soy”
