Fresh Tomato Sauce

  • 3 packs grape tomatoes 30 oz
  • 1 small onion
  • 1 small carrot
  • 2 tbsp tomato paste
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1/2 tsp basil
  • 1/2 tsp oregano ground
  • 1/2 tsp lemon juice fresh
  • 4 tbsp agave
  • 1/4 tsp salt

Additional Ingredients

  • 1 16oz bag of penne pasta or pasta of choice
  • 1 bag 8oz Daiya mozzarella cheese plant based
  • 1 bag 8oz Daiya cheddar cheese plant based
  • 1 sprig parsely
  • veggie meat protein optional


  • Cook pasta in boiling water until slightly tender, drain, and place in casserole dish.
  • Blend tomato sauce ingredients. Pour into sauce pan and simmer for 35-40 minutes.
  • Pour cooked sauce over pasta.
  • Add cooked veggie meat protein (optional)
  • Mix in some of the "cheeses" and sprinkle remaining cheese over the pasta.
  • Bake in the over for 15-20 minutes (until cheese in nicely melted).
  • Garnish with sprinkles of parsley.
  • Eat and Enjoy - to the Glory of God! (1 Corinthians 10:31)

    Oh… Vege meat protein! Where do I get this from?? It sounds like something I would love to buy and eat. I am a great lover of vege meat protein in the form of Fri Chick – but would never eat it now. Thank you for this recipe.
