Coconut-Oat Waffles

These regal waffles make you glad to be a part of the Royal Priesthood. Heart-healthy, protein-packed, omega-3 fortified... all the sons and daughters of God will shout for joy!

Ingredients
  

Instructions
 

  • Preheat waffle iron according to desired texture (soft or crispy; see note below).
  • Blend all ingredients (except sesame seeds) together until smooth.
  • When waffle iron is hot, coat the griddle with non-stick cooking spray.
  • If you're opting to use the sesame seeds, sprinkle some on the bottom griddle for easy removal and enhanced flavor.
  • Pour batter in (and if you're opting to use the sesame seeds, sprinkle some more on top of the batter).
  • Close lid and bake (see note below for details).
  • Eat and Enjoy - to the Glory of God! (1 Corinthians 10:31)

Notes

Please bear in mind, that the "Servings" amount and "Cook Time" will vary depending on the size of your waffle iron. Please refer to your appliance's user's guide/manual for best results.

    Dear brothers and sisters in Christ,

    Many thanks for this delicious waffle recipe that was greatly enjoyed by my husband and I this morning!
    I have made many vegan waffles before but these were the best we have had!
    Praise God!
    We will be sure to share with friends and family.
    I did make a couple substitutions I will mention: substituted maple syrup for the agave and pecans for walnuts and did opt to use the seseame seeds… flavorful, nutty and satisfying!
