Marinara Sauce

Lovely sauce for your pasta!


  • 8 cups crushed tomatoes 2 cans (28 oz.)
  • 1 can tomato paste 6 oz.
  • 1 med. onion chopped coarsley
  • 2-4 cloves garlic finely chopped
  • 2 whole bay leaves
  • 1 tbsp dried basil
  • 1/2 tbsp dried oregano
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tsp. sea salt optional
  • 1 tsp. pepper-like seasoning


  • Combine all ingredients in medium size pot.
  • Bring to a boil.
  • Turn down heat to med-low temperature and simmer, stirring regularly for 15 minutes.
  • Remove from heat, serve warm or cool to store.
  • Eat and Enjoy-to the glory of God! (1 Cor. 10:31)
