Not-Your Average Na-cho “Cheese”

Nacho "Cheese" Dip

Looking for a rustic dip to rule the rural plains? This ruddy topping, with its bold flavors, is bound to bring out the adventurer in you. Goes great with our "Cheesy" Potatoes!
Prep Time 5 minutes
Cook Time 3 minutes
Total Time 8 minutes
Servings 3.75 cups

Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups water
  • 1/2 cup cashews raw
  • 1/2 red bell pepper
  • 1/2 cup nutritional yeast flakes
  • 2 Tbsps arrowroot
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1/4 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 1/2 tsps salt sea salt
  • 1/2 tsp cumin (heaping)

Instructions
 

  • Blend all ingredients together, until smooth.
  • Place mixture into pot, and cook (stir constantly) on low-medium heat until thick.
  • Eat and Enjoy - to the Glory of God! (1 Corinthians 10:31)

Notes

    This is the best “Nacho Cheese” ever! Even better than Veggie Grill and Sage (restaurants in California)! My daughter said this taste better than real Nacho Cheese. I added pimentos just because I had them, not sure how it tastes without the pimentos, but I’m sure it will still taste very delicious!

    Wow! This is so delicious! Why even bother to buy vegan cheese or Nacho and I can do my own. No need to worry about additives or preservatives. Thank you for sharing such a great recipe. This has been a blessing to my family. God bless!
