You don’t need eggs… try Scrambled Tofu!

Scrambled Tofu I

Ounce-for-ounce, tofu is a powerhouse packed with more nutriment than its eggy foe. Give them a try... this simple, yet elegant, alternative will not leave you disappointed!
Prep Time 5 minutes
Cook Time 10 minutes
Total Time 17 minutes

Servings 2.5 cups

Ingredients
  

Instructions
 

  • Rinse, drain, and pat dry tofu.
  • Crumble tofu in a bowl and set aside.
  • In a large sauté pan (over medium heat), heat the olive oil and sauté the onions until soft.
  • Add tofu and stir.
  • Add remaining ingredients and cook for 7 minutes (stir occasionally).
  • Eat and Enjoy - to the Glory of God! (1 Corinthians 10:31)

    Please consider using “black salt” the iron & sulfur give it the traditional taste and smell associated with animal based scrambled eggs. It helps non vegans cross over to a fully plant based switch to this one recipe.
