- 1 cup textured vegetable protein
- 1/4 cup rolled oats
- 1/2 tsp dried oregano
- 1/2 tsp dried basil
- 1/2 tsp dried parsley
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
- 1/2 tsp dried garlic and roasted pepper
- 1 tsp non chicken massel seasoning
- 3/4 cup almost boiling water
- 2 Tbsp homemade ketchup see recipe link in the instructions
- 2 Tbsp Braggs
- 1 Tbsp peanut butter or cashew butter
- 1/4 cup bread flour
- 1 Tbsp nutritional yeast flakes
- Place the first 8 ingredients into a bowl and stir in the very hot water.
- Add the ketchup and braggs to this mixture and mix well. Let it stand for about 20 minutes, so that the TVP absorbs the flavours. Recipe for ketchup: https://molministry.com/recipe/ketchup/
- Add the nut butter and incorporate.
- Add the flour and nutritional yeast and mix thoroughly.
- Form into patties.
- Skillet cook in a little oil.
- Medium heat for about 5 minutes on each side, until they are golden brown.
