Protesters clash with riot police in Greece (Athens) strike – prophetic

ATHENS, Greece (AP) — A general strike disrupted services across Greece and riots erupted once more outside Parliament Tuesday as demonstrators protested more taxes and spending cuts essential for the country to receive critical bailout funds that will prevent a potentially disastrous default.

“But the measures, which include spending cuts and tax hikes on even those on minimum wages, have caused widespread outrage.Unions embarked on a two-day general strike Tuesday, halting nearly all public transport, forcing airlines to reschedule or cancel dozens of flights and bringing public services to a standstill

One protester somed up the problem very well, “The situation that the workers are going through is tragic and we are near poverty levels,” said Spyros Linardopoulos, a protester with the PAME union blockading the port of Piraeus earlier in the day. “The government has declared war and to this war we will answer back with war.” To read the whole article click here.

This experience (or these experiences)  in Athens, Greece with the failing economy, labor unions, riots etc. are all coming to America very soon. This will create the condition of unrest that will make the american people feel that the only thing that can bring stability back to our country is a return to God-in the form of a mandatory sunday law. We are nearing that time today. To read what we are told concerning this click here and notice as it begins to rise in the united states of ameri a.

 This is prophetic and we are told by the prophet of God to “Get ready, Get ready, Get ready”

Conflicts Between Trade Confederacies and Labor Unions

     The work of the people of God is to prepare for the events of the future, which will soon come upon them with blinding force. In the world gigantic monopolies will be formed. Men will bind themselves together in unions that will wrap them in the folds of the enemy. A few men will combine to grasp all the means to be obtained in certain lines of business. Trades unions will be formed, and those who refuse to join these unions will be marked men.–Letter 26, 1903.  {CL 10.3}

Preparing for the Issue

      The trades unions and confederacies of the world are a snare. Keep out of them, and away from them, brethren. Have nothing to do with them. Because of these unions and confederacies, it will soon be very difficult for our institutions to carry on their work in the cities. My warning is: Keep out of the cities. Build no sanitariums in the cities. Educate our people to get out of the cities into the country, where they can obtain a small piece of land, and make a home for themselves and their children. . . .  {CL 10.4}

     Our restaurants must be in the cities; for otherwise the workers in these restaurants could not reach the people and teach them the principles of right living. And for the present we shall have to occupy meetinghouses in the cities. But erelong there will be such strife and confusion in the cities, that those who wish to leave them will not be able. We must be preparing for these issues. This is the light that is given me.–General Conference Bulletin, April 6, 1903.  {CL 11.1}

    Very informative article. God is constantly trying to wake up his people, and we must take heed to the warnings that have been given to us. The sad part of all this is that most people in the church hear of these events, but fail to get ready for what will happen here in America. I thank you brother for this message, and I hope that the Lord will continue to us you for the finishing of the gospel.
