NOTES
Bro O called this a bean loaf; I don’t see any beans in the recipe. Was an ingredient omitted or did Bro. O just add in some beans? thanks.
Also what is the red topping in the picture? Thanks.
This loaf is versatile and can become a bean loaf if you substitute the grain for beans. Let us know if you try it!
Dear Heavenly Recipes:
Would you please suggest a grain or legume? We’ve been vegan only I have no clue where to start with this part. Oats, quinoa, rice, garbanzo beans, black beans, navy beans, lentils? It’s practically an endless list of grains and legumes :)
Blessings,
Snowy
The choices that you listed are all great options. Try starting out with oats and let us know how it turns out. Blessings!
Wow! This is a wonderful recipe. This was my first bean loaf and it was surprisingly good. My family loved it after taking the first bite. My youngest son did not want to taste it but the oldest convinced him to try it. When he did he said it is good, and the oldest said ” see, you have to try it and you will know if it is good.”
I also made a sauce with avocado, tomatoes, cilantro, sunflower seeds, flax seeds, almond milk, a little extra virgin olive oil and some salt. Blend it all up and it’s good….
Praise the Lord! Thank you for sharing!
